In July of 2004, J entered the electrical apprenticeship program. He graduated in 2010. He has been a member of the 3D team since January of 2001. He is primarily responsible for customer contact, job-site management and maintenance & support services for short order projects and small project design build.

J is licensed in Oregon and has Solar training through both Oregon Department of Energy and Energy Trust of Oregon.
